Pedro Dias

My family took a leap of faith coming to America; now, it is my turn to take a leap of faith, helping build a firm that will be a force for good in the world.

I came to America from Brazil at age 11, along with my younger sister and parents. We settled in Daly City, a small town just south of San Francisco. My passion for technology began at a very young age. I also used to fix our household computers and my parents' church friends' computers. I completed one year as a computer science major before deciding that finance was a better fit.

To afford school, I worked as a sales consultant at AT&T, where I learned first-hand the value of taking care of your clients with the utmost care. I have immense respect for founders that have had to fight their way to the top as it builds character and mental fortitude. I join Atman as a founding partner after spending several years in banking and fintech. I hope to serve founders in every way possible, ensuring I can facilitate their journey to build the most successful businesses in the world.

I recently worked in Riskified's strategic partnership group. We launched three products focused on financial institutions and card issuers. Riskified became a public company traded on the NYSE in 2021 and was backed by General Atlantic, NTT Docomo, Capital 1 Ventures, and Goldman Sachs.

Previously, I worked at JP Morgan and advised founders, individuals, and families on many disciplines with a focus on Brazil.

I thrive in creating lifelong relationships with incredible humans and creating bonds by solving the most complex and personal problems they may have.  Whether it is by ensuring their loved ones are protected to structuring their company holdings in the most optimal manner.

By shaping the future, founders are also the largest driving force in wealth creation today.

In addition to my work, I am an avid cyclist, racking up a few thousand miles per year, love to grill steaks, and enjoy studying (drinking) fine wine.
